In a 3am frenzy, I made an offer on a little video camera on eBay that had everything I wanted: record to SD card, CCD sensor, interlaced. I wanted it shitty, I wanted artifacts, I wanted that old lo-fi look that people try to emulate with their stupid fucking iphones by throwing filters on bit they shoot in 4k.
When it arrived, the SD card had footage on it! It looked to be a Costa Rican vacation in 2010 and the vibes were vibing. So of course I had to make an edit.
Videodad had a penchant for pocket recording and never not moving. Every shot was a pan or a zoom. I think for all the weird wobbly footage's worth, I managed to piece together something quite cute and wholesome, in all its 480p glory.
