Over the last few months, I’ve had a medical mystery surface, and I’ve come to the conclusion that all of the miscellaneous symptoms are linked to a hormonal IUD running out of juice earlier than expected at just 4 years old. Instead of staying on a sinking ship, I’m jumping to the next IUD immediately.
As all my hormonal symptoms pre-IUD came crawling back, and increased in severity every month, I have started to make connections between a smattering of seemingly unrelated symptoms that all mysteriously disappeared since I got my first Mirena back in 2016.
Here I will track when the symptoms disappear, and how long they take to do so, if my theory is right.
